St Finian's College will host an online CAO Application talk at 7:30 pm on Monday, 30th November. The talk will be delivered by Kay Mitchell, from Maynooth University, and will detail how students apply for college/university through the CAO system. This is an opportunity for parents to learn about the CAO process in order to help their sons/daughters make the right decision regarding their futures. The talk will be conducted through Zoom and a link will be forwarded by email once details have been finalised.

As part of Science Week 2020, some of our 6th year students attended The Aspire with Abbott, in association with Science Foundation Ireland, virtual STEM conference. As part of this event they attended a very informative talk by Brenda Romero, a BAFTA award-winning game director and entrepreneur, Brenda is CEO and co-founder of Romero Games based in Galway, Ireland.
Brenda gave a very interesting talk on the life of a gaming engineer and provided our students with lots of information on different careers in this rapidly expanding area.

Our new Parental Nominee to the Board of Management is Fidelma Sheridan, a parent of one of our first year students. We wish Fidelma every success in her new role.

The Parent Council Virtual AGM takes place Thursday, 5th November 2020 at 8pm. Please email if you would like to attend.
